Zayn has surprisingly released three new songs where he also talks about being a father

Zayn Malik surprised everyone by publishing a surprise three new songs. On Monday 13 September the artist shared on his account Twitter a Dropbox link which refers to “Yellow Tape”, formed by the songs “Grimez “,” Believe Me “and” 47 11 “.

These are decidedly unusual pieces for the artist, in which he tries his hand for the first time with rap. Click play below to hear him rapping!

The lyrics of the songs seem written entirely by Zayn, in which he expresses all his love for old school hip-hop. In “Believe Me” Zayn also addresses the theme of paternity saying:

“Me, I’m feeling grown, since I had my daughter. Now I had to change my goals and become a father and I learned this on my own. This is the life I chose”

Which translated into Italian sounds like:

“I, I have felt grown up, since I had my daughter. Now I had to change my goals and become a father and I learned it on my own. This is the life I have chosen”

The singer has become the father of the little girl Khai in September 2020. A while ago the 28-year-old talked about how he balances being engaged to Gigi Hadid and father with his career. “I spent a lot of time with my little girl and my lady – told in Zach Sang’s podcast – When I have an evening to myself, I write a little and Gigi is fine“.

He added that his third studio album “Nobody Is Listening“(released January 2021) and little Khai have something in common:”I linked my album to my little girl. It is part of you and you want to share it with the world“.
