Urgent NATO meeting on Afghanistan


BRUSSELS, AUGUST 13 – NATO holds an urgent meeting on the deterioration of the situation in Afghanistan after the United States announced the dispatch of troops to evacuate its citizens. This was reported by diplomatic and official sources. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will lead discussions with envoys from the 30 allies at the meeting called for 3pm (1pm GMT).
