After the launch event of HarmonyOS 2 and other products, Huawei has released a first teaser of the upcoming P50 series.
The teaser shows part of the back of the smartphone, probably the Pro version, with the camera consisting of two portholes that contain the photographic sensors inside them. In the first we find three sensors, while in the second we find a single sensor that should use a liquid lens with variable aperture.
Finally, we have two modules for the LED flash and the ASPH VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1: 1.8-3.4 / 18-125 indication.
As for the technical specifications, at the moment very little is known. A recent leaks has revealed that the device will be equipped with one curved OLED screen 6.6 inch with a single hole positioned in the center. Compared to the predecessor, therefore, the smartphone will lose the IR camera for face unlock. Additionally, Huawei will abandon the magnetic speaker for the ear capsule, in favor of a standard ear capsule. Finally, it appears that the Pro + version will be powered by an SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.
When will the Huawei P50 series arrive?
Huawei has also confirmed that the P50 series will be delayed from the usual spring launch of the P series. At the moment, however, it has not revealed a precise date for the launch.
