Stock exchange: opening up in Tokyo (+ 0.25%)

TOKYO, 16 SEPTEMBER – The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts trading positively, in the wake of the rebound of the US stock indices, and on the expectations of the launch of a new economic stimulus plan in Japan, in conjunction with the start of the electoral campaign, which it will lead to the appointment of the Conservative party president later this month, before the term ends in the fall. At the opening, the Nikkei advanced by 0.25% to 30,586.99, adding 75 points. On the currency market, the yen changed little against the dollar, at 109.40, and at 129.30 against the single currency.
