Start up Velettrica opens to new members, zero impact target


ROME, NOV 23 – Capital increase for Velettrica, a Roman start-up set up by the inventor Roberto Baffigo and which has developed a system, pending patent, of hybrid sail / electric propulsion that can allow a boat to navigate and power on-board systems without the use of fossil fuels. Among the investors in the transaction, on a private basis, also Giulio Ranzo, CEO of Avio SpA, who positively assessed the value proposition of Velettrica and its proprietary technology. Velettrica was assisted by the Nunziante Magrone studio. Vellettrica’s mission is to develop a highly efficient marine propulsion system to make every sailing boat or yacht a zero-impact vehicle.
