Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in the first live images

There are still a few months left until the announcement of the new Galaxy S22 range, which will probably take place between the end of January and the beginning of February 2022. In the meantime, however, the first live images of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have emerged.

The leaked images confirm what we have seen in the most recent renders, so we have a retro that says goodbye to the bump present last year, in favor of a “water drop” design. The various sensors, in fact, seem to emerge directly from the body. The rear has a matte coating, but it is plausible that the coloring shown is meant only for the prototype in question.

From the front, however, we have the huge OLED panel curved on the sides with a hole for the camera in the center. The lower frame, however, does not seem to be very small, but it could very well be a prototype still far from the product destined for sale.

The overall design looks more boxy, much more in line with the design of the latter Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and, in fact, we can almost call him his heir, because there will also be one Integrated S Pen with all the features we would normally find on a Galaxy Note.

The source also revealed the specifics of the photographic sector rear which will feature the exact same configuration as last year’s S21 Ultra. In fact, it features a 108MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 3X 10MP telephoto sensor and 10X 10MP periscopic telephoto lens.

UPDATE 08/11: Leaker Jon Prosser also unveiled the announcement date of the upcoming Galaxy S22 series. The Unpacked event is expected to take place on February 8, 2022, while sales will begin on February 18.
