Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 +: few design changes?

Mass production of the new Samsung Galaxy S22 has already begun and the leakers give us a new preview of what the design of the new range, or at least two models, will look like.

LetsGoDigital has published renderings of the Standard and Plus variants of Galaxy S22, based on new information from within Samsung itself, and the new design looks pretty familiar. The new models will almost faithfully follow the same design formula as their Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + predecessors. This, perhaps, to further differentiate them from the real flagship product, namely the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which should introduce a modified rear design.

The Galaxy S22 and S22 + camera setup will keep the vertical layout with the island extending all the way to the edge, but it appears to be less edgy. The front panel will remain flat, with rather narrow bezels on all four sides. Galaxy S22 is expected to arrive with a 6.06-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution, while the S22 + will have a 6.55-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution. It is, therefore, a reduction of the diagonals compared to the previous generation, which fitted panels of 6.2 and 6.7 inches.

The entire range will come with the new Exynos 2200 chipset and AMD GPU in some markets, while the US and China will likely get the Snapdragon 898-powered version.
