“To all those who worry too much like me, please know that you are not alone”
Ryan Reynolds he opened up to fans about his experience with anxiety, sending an honest and direct message through his Instagram account.
The occasion is that of mental health awareness month, which falls in May. The 44-year-old started from here, explaining why he waited the last few days of the month to address the topic.
“One of the reasons I’m posting this so late is that I get busy and important things slip away – wrote the actor – IS one of the reasons I get busy is my lifelong friend, anxiety. I know I’m not alone and most importantly to all those who like me are full of commitments, think too much, worry too much and do too much of everything, please know that you are not alone“.
“We don’t talk enough about mental health and we don’t do enough to remove the stigma by talking about it. But, like this post, better late than never I hope“concluded Ryan Reynolds.

The more voices join the chorus, the higher the volume on mental health, on normalizing the fact of talking about it and, above all, taking care of it.
As he wrote Hugh Jackman, one of Ryan Reynolds’ famous best friends, in the post comments: “Man, your honesty is not only courageous but, I am sure, it will help many others who are struggling with anxiety“.
