Redmi will announce the Redmi Note 11 smartphone series in China on October 28th. In the meantime, the company has revealed some details on the upcoming devices.
Both Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro + smartphones will be available in 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB versions. The available colors will be Black, Purple and Misty forest, but the Note 11 Pro will also come in an additional color. Redmi Note 11 Pro + it will also be the first smartphone of the Redmi brand to support the 120W fast charging, while the Note 11 Pro should stop at 67W fast charging, like the Note 10 Pro 5G.
The Note 11 Pro + will use a two-cell battery connected in series. In this way, the voltage of a single battery cell will be reduced and charging will be safer. There will be a liquid cooling technology coated with graphite for better heat dissipation.
The company also confirmed the presence of NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 3.5mm audio jack, IR sensor and stereo speakers with Sound by JBL. There will be support for 90 fps in most MOBA games. Redmi has yet to reveal details on the processor, but leaker Digital Chatstation says the smartphones will not be powered by the Snapdragon 778G SoC found in most mid-range phones. According to what emerged, they will use the Mediatek SoC Dimensity 920.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro series will be just 8.34mm thick with a plastic side bezel and AG glass back. The screen will be of type AMOLED made by Samsung with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate and DCI-P3 wide color gamut support. There will be a 2.96 mm central hole for the front camera, while on the back we will have a triple camera. On the side we will find a fingerprint sensor.
