realme GT2 Pro: first benchmark with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

Last week Mediatek announced the Dimensity 9000, while Qualcomm is expected to unveil its next flagship SoC next week. In the meantime, a first AnTuTu benchmark of the alleged Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (SM8450) on board the realme GT2 Pro has been leaked.

The AnTuTu score obtained by the smartphone is monstrous, as it managed to break through the wall of million points (precisely 1,025,215). This is far better than the 850,000 score obtained by the Qualcomm 888 Plus SoC, currently Qualcomm’s top proposition. Taking a quick comparison, the chip’s AnTuTu benchmark Dimensity 9000 (MT6983) that emerged last week had achieved a score of 1,007,396, making it the first SoC to surpass the 1 million mark on Android.

As for the smartphone, however, the realme GT2 Pro should be equipped with one OLED screen 6.5-inch with Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. In addition to the new Qualcomm SoC we should also have up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space. The photographic sector, on the other hand, will consist of a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5MP macro sensor. On the front, however, we will have a 32 MP camera. Finally, a 5000 mAh battery with 125 W UltraDart charging should not be missing.

We can expect realme to start talking about the new GT2 Pro allo Snapdragon Tech Summit of next week. However, Xiaomi 12 should be the first smartphone to arrive with the new Snapdragon flagship SoC.
