MADRID, 11 NOV – New arrivals of migrants in the last hours in the Canary Islands, Spain: since yesterday afternoon at least 244 people have arrived on the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, according to figures provided by the regional emergency service. The new arrivals were assisted by the Red Cross and the local government: at least nine were taken to hospital for “minor injuries”. According to the Efe news agency, in the last 48 hours there have also been landings on the coasts of southern peninsular Spain: almost a hundred people in the Cadiz area and 17 in the province of Granada.
