Lagarde, sharp drop in energy prices in the first half of 2022

BRUSSELS, NOV 15 – “The shortage of raw materials, equipment and labor weighs on manufacturing production, weakening the short-term prospects. Although the duration of the supply constraints is uncertain, it is likely that they will persist for several months and will gradually ease only in the course of 2022 ″. This was stated by the president of the ECB, Christine Lagarde, in a hearing in the European Parliament. Lagare also underlined that current futures prices indicate a significant easing of energy prices in the first half of 2022 ”. (HANDLE).
