One of the first devices with the new HarmonyOS natively on board will be the new Huawei MatePad Pro tablet, let’s find out together.
The new MatePad Pro comes with a 12.6-inch FullView OLED display and a 90% screen-to-body ratio, the highest of all tablets currently available on the market. The display features an ΔE of less than 0.5 for incredibly high color accuracy, delivering a sharp and accurate image on par with professional monitors. In addition, it guarantees a contrast ratio of 1,000,000: 1 and supports a DCI-P3 color gamut.
To move the device we find the chipset Kirin 9000, which offers incredible levels of performance. Furthermore, thanks to HarmonyOS, the tablet can interact perfectly with smartphones and PCs to double productivity and creativity in different scenarios, both in the office and at the drawing board. MatePad Pro also supports the Multi-screen Collaboration between tablet and PC. In Mirror and Extend modes, on the other hand, the tablet can become a drawing board and monitor, thus offering a more efficient collaborative experience.
Clearly there is no lack of support for the Second generation M-Pencil. The latter features a platinum-coated nib for high-precision handwriting and ultra-low latency, accurately differentiating between 4,096 pressure levels. It also supports FreeScript mode, freehand writing, resumed in any text input box in real time.
