After weeks of rumors we finally have a date. On June 16, Honor will finally unveil the new Honor 50 series of smartphones.
To announce the event, the company also released a teaser video showing the ring LED phone camera in the foreground and says it is aimed at “those who record vlogs”, so we can expect good stabilization.
As for the SoC used, apparently there will be no Mediatek, in fact Honor 50 and 50 Pro will be powered by the processor Snapdragon 778G, while Honor 50 Pro + will be moved by the Snapdragon 888. At the moment, however, with the exception of the chip used, very little is known about the data sheet of Honor’s next smartphone series.
Of the “top” model we know that it will adopt a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and HDR10 + support. There will be 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory and a 4,400 mAh battery with 67 W fast wired and 50 W wireless charging. The photographic sector, on the other hand, will boast a dual front camera from 32 + 8 megapixel camera, while the rear camera will be equipped with a 50 MP (f / 1.8) main sensor, a 13 MP (f / 2.2) ultra-wide, an 8 MP (f / 2.4) telephoto lens and a ToF sensor.
On the software side, however, all three models will be the first to use Google services again and will keep the Magic UI as a graphical interface.
We just have to wait for the presentation event, which will be held on June 16, to find out all the details. How many of you are waiting for Honor to return?
