The launch of HarmonyOS is almost upon us, but while we wait for Huawei to completely unveil its new operating system, the rumors continue. Today we see which devices will be the first to receive the new HarmonyOS operating system.
Looking forward to seeing the first native devices with HarmonyOS, an industry source says that after the event some devices will already be able to migrate from Android to HarmonyOS. The first batch should include i following models: Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, Mate 40 RS, Mate X2, nova 8, nova 8 pro and MatePad Pro.
Clearly this is only the first wave of devices that will receive this update, with more on the way in the coming weeks. Surely among these we will also find the models of the P40 series and the Mate 30 series.
For users, however, it will be a “painless” step. As we saw some time ago, HarmonyOS uses a graphical interface very similar to the current Android-based EMUI 11. In this way, users will not find themselves in difficulty despite switching from one operating system to another.
Additionally, it appears that many of the devices available in offline stores have already been upgraded to HarmonyOS and that sales of these units will begin shortly after the June 2nd event.
