French fishermen block ferries from Calais to GB

PARIS, 26 NOV – The planned blockade by French fishermen of the ferries that guarantee maritime connections with Great Britain has begun in the port of Calais. The aim of the protest is to obtain the rapid granting by London of the post-Brexit fishing licenses in a context of repeated tensions between France and Great Britain. According to reports from the AFP, 5 fishing boats arriving from the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer block access to the port of Calais, an operation that should last an hour and a half, as part of the national day of action of French fishermen started in Saint-Malo.
