Covid: Beijing closes part of its cinemas

BEIJING, OCTOBER 30 – Beijing closes some of its cinemas, in the face of an increase in cases of Covid-19 throughout China – less than 300, but already too many for the ‘zero tolerance’ decided by the government – which now affect a ten provinces of the country. Yesterday there were 59 new cases, two of which in the capital. To curb the spread of the virus in the capital and its region, all cinemas in the Xicheng district – which has more than one million inhabitants – will remain closed until November 14th. China adopts the utmost caution against Covid also because there are one hundred days to go before the Beijing Winter Olympics, which open on February 4. (HANDLE).
