Through a long post shared on Instagram, Federico Zampaglione announced the release of the new studio album by Tiromancino titled “I have changed many houses”.
“When my father gave me my first guitar in the 80s, I never imagined that music it would have been my reason for living, my eternal traveling companion – writes the artist – The years and records, concerts and songs have flown by, but there passion it’s always the same; on the contrary, my need for music and art has increased and has always taken on new forms, changing precisely… many houses. From experimentation and the indie of the 90s, to the contaminated song form of the 0s, to the Blues old friend of all time, at a thousand collaborations multiform and everything that has passed and passes every day between my notes. I have always tried to tell with honesty and unfiltered any human experience good or bad to which the life he wanted to confront me and this record fully follows this line, narratively and emotionally. ‘I changed many houses’ comes five years after the previous unreleased album and is, in my opinion, one of the most complete and mature records of Tiromancino; attention to every detail to get to the heart in a simple and direct way, but also deep and multifaceted. Soon I will let it go and that sense of detachment that I feel every time, will be filled with the joyful idea of knowing it in your hands …
I look forward to that day with great emotion.
I hug you. F “
“I changed many houses” was anticipated by the new single from Tiromancino “Sunday”, available from Friday 10 September.
