BRAZIL, OCTOBER 26 – The Brazilian Parliament’s Commission of Inquiry into the Covid Pandemic (CPI) approved a final report recommending the indictment of President Jair Bolsonaro for nine crimes related to his management of the emergency, including “crimes against humanity “. The text, approved by 7 out of 11 senators, recommends the indictment, for various reasons, of another eighty people, including several ministers, former ministers, companies and Bolsonaro’s three eldest sons. It will now have to be submitted to the general prosecutor’s office directed by one of his loyalists.
