Each year, new artists are introduced to the Cleveland museum, chosen from those who have most influenced the music industry. This year they are the rapper, Carole King, Todd Rundgren, The Go-Go’s, Foo Fighters and Tina Turner.
For the entry of Shawn Carter, 51, was prepared a video in which over 30 famous people recite his verses and among them are the eldest daughter Blue Ivy, who is 9, and his wife Beyoncé, 40.
“Congrats S. Carter, ghost writer. You paid the right price, so we just make your hits tighter“says the little girl (a sweetened version of the 1998” Ride or Die “lyrics), who then bursts into a good laugh in front of the camera.
